Om Behera and Subham Behera, two brothers from a struggling family, faced harsh realities from a young age. With parents trapped in alcoholism and neglect, their childhood was steeped in poverty. Forced to abandon their education, they scavenged for plastic and garbage just to survive, their dreams of a better future slipping away.
Seeing their plight, Peacebell stepped in with compassion and commitment. Through counseling and family support, and by welcoming them into the “Sanskar Gruha” initiative, Peacebell provided a nurturing environment that blended education with joy—instilling good habits and a love for learning through games, dance, songs, and art.
Thanks to this intervention, Om and Subham returned to school, breaking free from the shadow of illiteracy. Today, they study with enthusiasm and hope, believing firmly that education will unlock a brighter future.
Beyond “Sanskar Gruha,” Peacebell amplifies children’s voices through programs like the Children’s Parliament, which meets monthly to build leadership, encourage debate, and inspire creativity through art competitions and community-focused activities.
Through such tireless efforts, Peacebell ensures that every child—no matter their background—has the chance to learn, grow, and succeed.
